Greetings!

My name is Chris Kamrath and I am excited to be the District Administrator of the Plum City School District. In addition to serving as the District Administrator, I also have the privilege of being our Middle and High School Principal. 

I grew up in Chetek, WI and graduated from high school in 2001. In 2006, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from UW-Eau Claire. I earned my Master's Degree in Reading Instruction from UW-Eau Claire in 2009, and my Doctorate in Educational Administration from Bethel University in 2013. 

I taught at the elementary level for seven years before entering into administration. While teaching, I enjoyed coaching cross country, forensics and track. I served as an Elementary Principal for 11 years prior to coming to Plum City.

My wife, Sonja, and I live in River Falls with our three boys. Our family enjoys spending time together outdoors - especially hunting and fishing. My boys are very involved in various sports and Boy Scouts, and I enjoy coaching and watching them grow. In addition, our family has a goal to visit all 50 states.

I was drawn to Plum City by the strong district and supportive community. The district has a strong academic reputation. We also are very proud of our comprehensive 4K-12 character education program that features all district students learning about the same monthly character trait. We are also very proud of our extra curricular programs including many clubs and sports.

Our District prides itself on strong communication. We utilize a monthly district newsletter along with a building newsletter each month. We also work hard to maintain a very up-to-date Facebook presence.
