Greetings PC 6-12th grade families!
Below are a few updates from Plum City Middle and High School:
A reminder of parent teacher conferences on February 19th from 3:30-7:00pm. We will have a few special events happening during the night. Arbor Place, who is leading our Opioid Prevention program to our 7th graders this spring, will be available in our middle/high school commons to share their program and answer any questions.
Ms. Fortney and Dr. Kamrath will be leading a presentation on our state report card at 6:00pm in the elementary gym. Any parent or community member is welcome to attend.
Last week, we had our monthly character education assembly. Our students learned about our February character trait: Honesty.
Please join me in celebrating our January students of the month. Our Middle School winner was 8th grader Brenda Torres-Nieto. Our high school winner was Junior Ellison Maxwell. Both students were recognized for the perseverance they show in school.
This week we hung our district character trait banners and posters around our building. Hopefully you enjoy them at conferences. A future step will be to advertise our district character traits across the community.
Our SOS sponsored middle school lock-in will be Thursday, March 6th. SOS also sponsors cabin fever at the elementary on the evening of April 3rd. Anyone interested in volunteering can reach out to Jill Bechel.
ES/MS Yearbook order forms are available in the office for students to pick up. Reminder, to order your yearbook prior to February 21st in order to secure yours for just $15.
If you do not already follow our Facebook page, I strongly encourage you to do so. Our regular posts feature items to celebrate along with community education events. One such event is having our halls open for walking each day after school over the winter season. It has been fun to see so many people using our building.
Sincerely,
